Wednesday in Wyoming - January 10, 2024

Although my East Coast friends believe Wyoming is covered with many feet of snow all winter, that's not always the case, especially in the eastern part of the state. As you can see, there are only a few inches on the road here ... not enough for a plow. Instead, we rely on solar road clearing.

This photo was taken on a road heading toward Lander and the famous Lander Lil, Wyoming's answer to Punxsutawney Phil.
