Wednesday in Wyoming - May 10, 2023

 

I often wonder whether the pioneers heading west in their wagon trains stopped in this part of Wyoming and whether the mountains looming to the west made them wonder whether they'd made a mistake in leaving their homes. After all, the most difficult part of the trek was still ahead of them.

You won't find any wagon trains here in Guernsey State Park, just vacationers and day trippers ready to enjoy some beautiful scenery and recreational activities.
